Pete was President of the Top Of The Line Social Club and Civic Club whose purpose was to help youth, seniors and anyone with a need. At different times, he was a lead vocalist in a number of bands throughout Charlottesville and surrounding areas. God blessed him with musical talent and throughout the years it was an intricate part of his life. He even sang "Stagger Lee" on a local television station. In the JPB Hall of Fame, Pete was voted the "Best Singer". He was a vital part of the All Burley Class Reunions sponsored by the Class of 1960, and provided musical support for some of the class reunion activities.
